When developing new customers, I often need to introduce our factory when presenting Rongxing electrode paste—our in-house product. This helps clients understand the company's history, development, the foundation for efficient production operations, and the manufacturing processes, processing procedures, and quality control measures that ensure reliability. The goal is to give clients a preliminary impression of our facilities even before they visit in person. Among these aspects, customers are particularly concerned about production capacity, production lines, and quality control. Below, I will elaborate on these key points.
Currently, Rongxing electrode paste operates two production plants. The original plant, established in 1992, is located in Gongyi City, Henan Province. It features two fully automated production lines with a designed annual capacity of 200,000 tons, an actual operating capacity of 50,000 to 60,000 tons per year, and a daily output of approximately 600 tons. The second plant, built in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, was completed in 2022 and began operations at the end of that year. It also has two fully automated production lines with the same design capacity of 200,000 tons annually and an actual output of 50,000 to 60,000 tons. A third plant, currently under construction in Lianyungang, will have the same design capacity as the second plant and is expected to begin operations in the first half of 2026.
Rongxing’s electrode paste production lines are fully computer-controlled automation systems. From raw material feeding, screening, crushing, mixing and molding, to cooling, all stages are managed by computers. Only the final packaging stage involves manual assistance. This ensures maximum stability in production and minimizes error rates. Currently, the feeding accuracy can be controlled within 2 kg, while the volatile matter content in the final product varies by only about one-thousandth.
Regarding quality control, Rongxing has its own dedicated QC department responsible for random sampling and testing of electrode paste production parameters, including density, moisture, ash content, volatile matter, and resistivity. Test results are compared against standards and documented in quality inspection reports, which serve as one of the shipping certificates. This process maximizes transparency and authenticity in production specifications.
