2) Low fixed carbon content leads to rapid electrode consumption. Fixed carbon directly affects the electrical conductivity and thermal stability of electrode paste. Higher fixed carbon content increases the proportion of carbon materials, reduces the amount of carbon involved in chemical reactions, and thus lowers consumption rate. In high-voltage environments, higher arc temperatures accelerate decomposition of organic components in the paste, increasing consumption.

5) Rising furnace bottom reduces electrode insertion depth, leading to faster consumption. This is easy to understand—shallow electrode insertion increases exposed arc phenomena, raises oxidation and temperature, and naturally increases consumption.
